Security: Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
By System Admin
What is Two-Factor Authentication?
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds an extra security step when you log in. After entering your password, you'll also need to provide a one-time verification code sent to your email, making it much harder for unauthorized users to access your account.
Enabling 2FA
- Go to Dashboard ??? Security (2FA)
- Click Enable Two-Factor Authentication
- A verification code will be sent to your registered email
- Enter the code to confirm and activate 2FA
Logging In with 2FA
- Enter your email and password as usual
- You'll be redirected to the verification page
- Check your email for the 6-digit code
- Enter the code within the validity period
- You're now securely logged in
Disabling 2FA
You can disable 2FA at any time from Dashboard ??? Security (2FA). You'll need to verify your identity before the setting is changed.
Troubleshooting
- Code not arriving? ??? Check your spam/junk folder. Ensure your email address is correct in your profile settings.
- Code expired? ??? Click "Resend Code" to get a fresh one. Codes expire after a few minutes for security.
- Locked out? ??? Contact support through the Contact page for account recovery assistance.
