Security: Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

By System Admin

What is Two-Factor Authentication?

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds an extra security step when you log in. After entering your password, you'll also need to provide a one-time verification code sent to your email, making it much harder for unauthorized users to access your account.

Enabling 2FA

  1. Go to Dashboard ??? Security (2FA)
  2. Click Enable Two-Factor Authentication
  3. A verification code will be sent to your registered email
  4. Enter the code to confirm and activate 2FA

Logging In with 2FA

  1. Enter your email and password as usual
  2. You'll be redirected to the verification page
  3. Check your email for the 6-digit code
  4. Enter the code within the validity period
  5. You're now securely logged in

Disabling 2FA

You can disable 2FA at any time from Dashboard ??? Security (2FA). You'll need to verify your identity before the setting is changed.

Troubleshooting

  • Code not arriving? ??? Check your spam/junk folder. Ensure your email address is correct in your profile settings.
  • Code expired? ??? Click "Resend Code" to get a fresh one. Codes expire after a few minutes for security.
  • Locked out? ??? Contact support through the Contact page for account recovery assistance.
