Bid Tracker Overview

The Bid Tracker is a powerful project management tool built specifically for procurement professionals. It helps you manage every tender opportunity from initial discovery through final outcome.

Bid Stages

Each bid moves through the following stages:

  1. Identified ??? You've spotted the opportunity and are evaluating it
  2. Qualified ??? The tender matches your capabilities and you've decided to pursue it
  3. Proposal Drafting ??? You're actively preparing your submission
  4. Submitted ??? Your proposal has been sent to the procuring entity
  5. Under Review ??? The evaluation process is underway
  6. Won ??? Congratulations! You've been awarded the contract
  7. Lost ??? The contract was awarded to another bidder

Adding a Bid

From any tender detail page, click Track This Bid to add it to your tracker. You can also add bids manually from the Bid Tracker page in your dashboard by entering the tender reference and details.

Tracking Information

For each tracked bid, you can record:

  • Bid Amount ??? Your proposed price
  • Stage ??? Current phase (updated as you progress)
  • Notes ??? Internal notes about strategy, contacts, or requirements
  • Competitors ??? Known competitors bidding on the same tender

Performance Dashboard

The Bid Tracker shows aggregate metrics including:

  • Total bids in pipeline by stage
  • Win rate percentage
  • Total value of won contracts
  • Average bid-to-award timeline

  • Update bid stages promptly to keep your pipeline accurate
  • Use notes to record debriefing feedback from lost bids
